There was a little girl who was a ‘sleepy queen’
Who snored in class behind a big smoke screen
Physical education was met with trepidation
And swimming lessons were greeted with consternation
Attending dance classes was as absurd
As swallowing fermented bean curd
Her knowledge of social etiquette
Was as much as the space of a floppy diskette
She struggled to comprehend scientific theories
That numbed her mind with endless queries
Hitting the books was a mind-numbing chore
Something that she DID deplore
Her mind always drifted away
Much to her parents’ dismay

But though she seemed dense
God had gifted her with a crappy rhyming sense
That always came to her rescue
Whenever she missed a social cue
And her sense of humor
Spread like a cancerous tumorShe had friends who could appreciate her ‘skill’
Except when she went into a rhyming overkill
She has penned a poem here
It is a wee bit long I fear
But penning a poem is indeed a privilege
Though she’s certainly no literary sage
Hope that it brought some good cheer
Of course without the COWSBERG beer :D
